TEACHER SLAPS 3-YEAR-OLD: Assistant Allegedly Dragged Child During Class...

A preschool classroom assistant in New York City faces legal action after allegedly striking and physically dragging a 3-year-old student during class, according to a lawsuit. The incident raises questions about oversight and safety protocols at early-childhood facilities, where young children depend entirely on staff to create secure learning environments. Cases involving physical contact with preschoolers typically trigger both criminal investigation and civil claims, given the vulnerability of the age group and difficulty children have documenting or reporting what happened to them.
