Grealish dropped by Everton after 'breach of club discipline'

Jack Grealish, the 31-year-old England winger on loan at Everton from Manchester City, was benched for Thursday's Carabao Cup match against Newcastle after breaching club discipline—reportedly by missing a training session. Grealish has appeared six times for Everton this season in what marks his second loan spell with the club; he previously contributed two goals and six assists across 20 appearances before a foot injury ended last season early. The £100 million Manchester City signing will need to rebuild trust with his new squad amid questions about his fitness and focus.
