BBC to Air Non-League FA Cup First-Round Ties Altrincham, Cray Wanderers...

The BBC will broadcast two FA Cup first-round mismatches on consecutive November weekends: Altrincham, a National League side, hosting former winners Notts County on November 7, and Cray Wanderers—a seventh-tier club making their first appearance at this stage—taking on League One leaders Stockport County on November 8. Cray earned their spot by beating Bedford Town on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Altrincham holds the giant-killing record for non-league clubs, with 17 previous wins over Football League opponents, while Cray claim the distinction of being London's oldest football club, predating the FA Cup itself by nearly a decade.
