Lockheed Pumps $300M Into Texas Plant to Feed Missile Surge...

Lockheed Martin is pouring $300 million into its Grand Prairie, Texas facility to triple the square footage dedicated to missile manufacturing, adding 130,000 square feet of factory space and installing roughly 130 high-precision machines by late 2026. The expansion directly serves a cascade of Pentagon contracts signed since January—including a $58.6 billion seven-year deal to increase PAC-3 production from 600 to 2,000 interceptors annually and a $35 billion agreement to quadruple THAAD output.
