Attacker Shouting 'Allahu Akbar' Killed Outside Israeli Embassy in Belgrade...

A knife-wielding minor shouted Islamic phrases while attacking a Serbian police officer guarding the Israeli Embassy in Belgrade shortly after midnight Wednesday, prompting the officer to shoot and kill the attacker in self-defense. The assailant, from the town of Sabac, allegedly displayed ISIS symbols on social media, leading Serbian authorities to classify the incident as a terrorist attack and raise the country's terrorism threat level to its highest tier. The officer sustained a facial wound but survived. This marks the second attack on the embassy's guards in less than two years, following a similar incident last June involving a crossbow.
