Iran Plot to Strike US Base Forced Bomber Evacuation From UK...

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has a documented history of planning attacks against U.S. military installations and personnel abroad, particularly in response to perceived threats or American military actions in the Middle East. RAF Fairford, located in Gloucestershire, England, hosts U.S. Air Force bombers and has served as a strategic staging point for operations across Europe and the Middle East. The base houses some of America's most advanced aircraft, making it a high-value target. Threats against U.S. military assets abroad typically trigger elevated security protocols and, in serious cases, operational adjustments like aircraft relocations.
