Giants' Nagy Ready to Open Playbook for J.J. McCarthy Debut...

Matt Nagy plans to expand his offensive scheme for J.J. McCarthy's debut as the Giants' starting quarterback, signaling the coaching staff's confidence in the rookie's ability to execute a more complex playbook. McCarthy takes over after New York's previous starter faltered, giving the young signal-caller a chance to prove he can operate beyond a simplified system. Nagy's willingness to open up the offense suggests the Giants view McCarthy as capable of handling multiple read progressions and coverage options—a stark shift that could reshape New York's passing attack for the rest of the season.
