HOLLYWOOD ICON DEAD: Eva Marie Saint, 'Waterfront' Star, Dies at 102...

Eva Marie Saint, who died at 102, was among the last surviving stars from Hollywood's classical era—an actress who anchored Elia Kazan's "On the Waterfront" (winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress), played the seductive spy opposite Cary Grant in Hitchcock's "North by Northwest," and worked alongside Newman, Taylor, Burton, and Beatty across seven decades. Her career spanned from 1946 television appearances through voice work on Nickelodeon animation in 2012, a longevity few performers from her generation achieved.
