ROCK LEGEND DEAD: Sass Jordan, Who Launched Taylor Hawkins, Dies at 65...

Sass Jordan, who died October 2nd at 65, was a Canadian rock staple whose 1992 album *Racine* produced mainstream hits like "Make You a Believer" and landed her tours with Aerosmith and the Rolling Stones. She's remembered less for her own chart success than for launching others—most notably Taylor Hawkins, whom she hired as her drummer in the early '90s before he went on to become the Foo Fighters' percussionist. Dave Grohl later credited her as essential to Hawkins' career. Jordan had withdrawn from touring in 2026 after citing a serious medical condition.
