BILLY JOEL LEGACY: 50th Anniversary 'Turnstiles' Box with 54 Unreleased Tracks...

Billy Joel is releasing a four-CD, one-Blu-ray box set this December to mark fifty years since Turnstiles, the 1976 album that solidified his identity as more than a one-hit wonder. The collection includes 54 previously unheard tracks—demos, live recordings from San Francisco and New York venues in 1975-76, and a restored concert film shot at Connecticut College in December 1976. A 40-page hardcover book with archival photos and notes from the Billy Joel Archives director accompanies the set, documenting how the album marked Joel's artistic transformation during a pivotal moment in his career.
