A 31-year-old Georgia man was arrested Thursday after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at an ICE facility in downtown Atlanta on Tuesday evening, striking the building's exterior fence and igniting flames. Inique Hinton of Douglasville was charged with attempted arson and destruction of federal property, facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted. Security cameras captured him near the facility minutes before the attack, and investigators recovered burned cloth, lighter fluid, a glass bottle, and a lighter at the scene. Federal prosecutors called it an "act of terrorism," noting the same Atlanta facility had been targeted approximately six years earlier during 2020.
