ATLAS SOUND RETURNS: Bradford Cox Releases First New Music in 15 Years...

Bradford Cox revived Atlas Sound after 15 years away with "Octoberland," a new track paired with a self-directed video. The reactivation signals a return to festival circuits next year—Cox has already booked appearances at Big Ears in Knoxville, Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City, and Primavera Sound in Barcelona. Atlas Sound, Cox's ambient and experimental side project separate from his main work with Deerhunter, had gone dormant since the early 2010s, making this comeback significant for fans of his more exploratory sonic work.
