HURRICANE IMPACT: Trump Skips Alabama-Georgia Game as Isaias Approaches...

Former President Trump announced he would skip the Alabama-Georgia football game scheduled for early September 2020 due to Hurricane Isaias, which was bearing down on the Southeast at the time. The decision came as the storm threatened the region with heavy rain and dangerous winds, forcing organizers and attendees to weigh safety risks against the marquee matchup between two powerhouse college programs. High-profile cancellations or postponements during major hurricanes are routine, though Trump's public announcement of his absence drew typical media attention.
