K-9 APPLICANT: Lost Dog Shows Up at Police Station, Reunites With Tearful Owner...

A dog wandered into the Tampa Police Department on its own, leading officers to track down its owner through a microchip and reunite the pair. The stray had been missing, and instead of waiting to be found, apparently made its way to the station—prompting local social media to joke that the animal was applying to join the K-9 unit. The reunion proved emotional for the owner, who had been searching for their pet.
